WTMS or Western Technology Music Society is the official western music band of IIT Kharagpur.
The band performs a grand show during the month of October/November every year. It is scheduled to be held on the 8th of November this year. A variety of genres are covered ranging from Soft Rock to Progressive Metal. With the best guitarists, drummers and keyboard players on campus playing for WTMS, the show is a hell of a lot of fun. Previous performances include a small acoustic performance ‘WTMS Unplugged’ on one of the basketball courts of the campus.
